I believe

I am thankful to know that there is a God.  That he is my Father in Heaven, and that He loves me.  I am thankful to know that Jesus Christ is His only begotten son, and that Jesus is my Savior.  I know They are real and that They live.  I am thankful that God and Jesus are in charge and that They have a plan.

    Anna,

    I too am thankful, also surprised someone of a newer era than mine read Sam Foss's 1897 poem, "House By The Side of The Road", and felt the intelligence and humanity of it. I first heard it recited, when I was quite young, by an old carnival wrestler with a voice like a helicopter. Foss's poem, you see, made an impression on my parents' generation, as I hope your promising blog will impress this one. My compliments.
